I think I have it, but never tried it. Came in a Humble Bundle, I think.
I think I have it, but never tried it. Came in a Humble Bundle, I think.
My mantra is the opposite; “I’ll never find this again”, and then a day or two later; chuckles, “Called it!”
Started a new fort in Dwarf Fortress. I’m trying to make all decisions based on the preferences of whatever dwarf is in charge.
Anything in the USA, because that place scares me.
For no reason at all I decided to listen to the Pink Floyd album that has Brick in the Wall in it.
It’s not something I usually listen to, and it was a nice vacation from my usual stuff.
I should do something for the RC season. Either go fix the track or order spares for my cars.
The cars are under a layer of dust since last summer, and the dirt track has weeds growing all over it.
It’s just predator instinct to chase something. My cats chase flies, for example. They don’t do it for the calories.
Oh shit that’s the name of that movie! I was a teenager when we had it on VHS. Maybe deserves a rewatch now that I know the name again.
I have so far refused to see the exorcist. I don’t think I could handle it.
Not a bad view at all
I should watch Spaceballs again
Did you also read “off” as “of”, like I did, or does a day off work just involve other work for you?
I take a lot of photos, and my routine is to go through them all, rename the files to contain the subjects, and copy them to my media center and a backup drive.
And by routine I mean I keep postponing it and now have a backlog that goes to photos from 2023.
I only understand other people hating it because so many people have said so. So it’s more of an acknowledgement than actually understanding.
Of course, I understand people are different, so there’s that.
I got a brief flash of a Ren and Stimpy close-up of a nostril sucking in mothballs, from reading this comment.
But jokes aside, I can imagine that smell becoming a core memory down the road and will hit with instant nostalgia whenever you smell something similar.
I remember the smell of my Grandmother’s house every time I hear the song Teardrop by Massive Attack. I’m 9 years old, and I’m watching MTV, sitting on the living room carpet.
This post made me imagine a nightmare scenario where Earth is ejected and we can only helplessly watch as the sun becomes smaller and smaller.
Cover art vs gameplay
First thing that came to mind is the bombardier beetle, which shoot chemicals from their butts.
I wonder if personal websites with links to each other, like in the olden days, will start growing in popularity again because of how trust is slowly eroded for anything not in your direct control, and search engines becoming more and more useless 🤔
