Some IT guy, IDK.

IMO, this would be more ironic if the post was closed automatically by a bot. But that’s not the vibe I’m getting from this.
Is this a representation of self?
… I mean, is this me?
One time, I was walking down the street with my brother and a junebug flew right into the side of my neck. My instinctual reaction to this was to freak the fuck out, flail my arms and jump about a meter to the side away from where I was hit.
… That all happened in about 0.087 seconds.
Yes, I jumped sideways.
Everything is fine until you say the wrong strawberry?
I’ve had two conversations with the same person at the same time.
Really common with text chatting, since they reply to conversation 1 while I’m replying to conversation 2, then we switch.
It’s 7 bits…
Pay attention. 🤪
I must ask why; the prohibition of it doesn’t make any sense to me at all. It’s all but proven fact that it’s not any more harmful than either smoking cigarettes, or drinking alcohol.
Both of which are completely legal to consume all day, every day.
Weed simply doesn’t deserve the status it is given, it was placed on schedule 1 as a gigantic middle finger from the ruling class, against the working class. They did it to punish those they saw as their lessers, and so they could have the police rough up anyone because they owned a small amount of the substance. But the cigarettes and alcohol they’ve enjoyed for decades and many of them have profited from? Those are fine. This new thing (at the time) that they aren’t profiting off of? Let’s make it illegal, so we can force everyone to use the things we do profit from.
That’s basically the backstory here.
Why you, or anyone would oppose lifting that prohibition is confusing at best, racist/classest at worst.
I’m genuinely curious how you have come to have the position you do. If you don’t like it, nobody is going to force you to use the stuff, same with alcohol and cigarettes. So why do you care?
A person who hasn’t debugged any code thinks programmers are done for because of “AI”.
Oh no. Anyways.
I also would not know about that.
Clearly, it’s light-ish red.
This person colors
Can’t fix what you don’t know is wrong.
I’m pretty sure if it worked on any frequency in the charged electromagnetic spectrum, they would get completely screwed long before they made it to earth.
As a qualified amateur operator, the radio spectrum is noisy.
I’m not a fan, but that’s neither here nor there. I’m weird.
I’m just not sure that flavor can be considered a positive character trait?
Maybe I’m stupid. Who knows? Clearly not me.
10/10.
Completely accurate, no notes
IT guy checking in.
The only time I’ve even seen drive temp sensor alarms is on server raid arrays and other similar hard drives/SSDs… Never in my life have I seen one available on a consumer device, nor have I seen any alarm for and drive temp, go off. It just doesn’t happen.
IMO, this is one of those language barriers where people call their computer chassis (and everything in it) the “hard drive”.
Applying that assumption, their updated statement is: His computer over heated.
Idk what kind of shit system he’s running on that 60k rows would cause overheating, but ok.
To be fair, the spider will likely be responsible for the deaths of many other insects, but honestly, I’m ok with that. They can live in my house rent free if they keep the other bugs from making my home their home… And they don’t crawl on me. That’s just begging to be killed…
Spiders are bros.
To be fair, this is also me when I look at a network setup years later. (I do IT with a specialty in networks)
Well, in the OP, it’s entirely nepotism.
Fact is there’s a lot of dead end postings, as far as I can tell.
Corpos post jobs so they can claim they’re trying to hire someone, with zero intention of actually interviewing or hiring anyone.
It’s basically a warm blanket for the current overworked and underpaid developers so that they keep working, waiting for help and relief when none is coming.
Then they have a pool of candidates when their current developers get sick of their shit and quit, so that they can fill that role immediately.
Yayyyy
