What if… Now hear me out… What if our lack of time recognition is due to some ancestors that were immortal, like vampires or something–and at some point the immortality gene just disappeared, like due to Mendelian genetics or something.

Is there enough paper on earth?
There’s a reason they gave the upgrade to 11 away for “free.”
Aww you’re no fun…
Here, have a video of one of my bros showing what he thinks of that comment.
Widows are more common in my area and I do the same.
You can gauge a book by its cover, but until the story in known, judging should be reserved.
The cat is either…
Trying to go on sabbatical
She just doesn’t like what Mr. Hardy does at home
Going into town to get Mr. Hardy a girlfriend
Heading to the capital to file a food bowl complaint
To be perfectly fair, when the guy said the test was inconclusive, he was right… To a point.
His failure was that he only did the test once and in one location, which just proves a hill/valley could be playing a factor in the results. To have true empirical results, the test would need to be done at multiple locations, each a random but sizable distance apart.
The scientific method relies on repeatability and reliability in data to provide proof to anything and he wasn’t really using either.
It’s really laggy with loading the comments though. 5~10% of the images also fail to load.
Huh? What was that?
I think the closest would be the TicWatch, though you’d be using an old Wear OS version and likely never get any updates for it.
I took a hike up Mission Peak (Fremont, CA, US) some number of years ago and had to stop 3/4 the way up as it was too muddy, but I got a good shot of the bay and have been using it on my phone since. It also has this weird feature where the lighting on it also makes it look bright but cloudy to dark and stormy depending on screen brightness.
Summary
When meals are eaten, in relation to the time of day, is increasingly considered of importance when implementing dietary change in order to address the growing burden of obesity, although further research is required in order to determine optimal patterns.
That study is more focused on weight gain and not really about the effect on sleep. Sleep is mentioned, but in reference as a co-contributer.
I’ve done OMAD (eat at night) for close to 15 years and have always been on the lower end of my BMI ratio and other than walking between buildings at work, no real exercise. To gain any weight, I would have to eat 4,500-5,000kcal/day. My sleep has also always been the same throughout my life regardless of eating style. (it may have even improved with my eating style)
You have to keep in mind that the resistance from one foot to your other is going to be less than dry earth between your strides. This means if you are walking toward a downed power line, you may inadvertently walk within its path to its ground and the voltage could actually travel through you.
Not sure about their EOD techniques, but I’m assuming he was trying to pull back a cover to possibly hardwire the orange box to the mine’s ordinance to bypass the mine’s fuse/s. It looks to have been booby trapped though.
*Supposed killer
He’s only a suspect at the moment
It looks like it’s primarily aesthetic.
A few notes though… With the faucet and valve so close to the open side, the shower curtain could inconvenience adjusting the temperature or catch onto the handle if not paid attention to. If the shower head is also offset that much (not sure by the pic but a couple of easy fixes are available) it could make it more difficult to shower especially with having to stand in a tub.
The fixtures aren’t centered (laterally) on the wall.
It does seem like they just found a bunch of pics of random guys with a hood and jacket along with some with a mask added to make them all seem linked.
Way back, years ago, and if memory serves…
There was short story about Harry Potter in a Disney Adventures magazine one month and I think that was supposed to be all there was as far as the story. The popularity of it may have had JKR rushing to build a more in depth story and throwing anything in it that seemed whimsical and fun to a kid, regardless if it made sense.
