Two weeks is Trump’s tell. He hopes you forget about it and move on.
Much like “China’s final warning”, “Trumps two weeks” just means he’s not doing anything about it because he’s scared of the consequences
TACO diplomacy
Thac0 diplomacy.
Taco
He always says two weeks…he knows the news cycle moves on and no one holds him to account. it’s the perfect number.
Just specific enough to be plausible, just short enough to be acceptable, and just long enough to be forgotten.
Two Weeks Again Trump
He also said he’d resolve the conflict within the first 48 hours of taking office or some bullshit lol. But i do appreciate the clip calling out that its been “2 weeks” for a while now.
It was 24 hours.
Trump is a weak, self-serving coward.
Trump is weak.
And stupid. Dont forget that. Oh and corrupt.
Don’t forget demented!
Trump says a lot of things. He’s weak, he’s spineless, he’s an idiot, and the only thing he’s capable of doing is making life for the people in his own country miserable.
🌮
Two weeks?
Two week TACO Or too weak TACO
I was told that the war would be over in 24 hours
He’ll just keep claiming two weeks. Then one day that war will be over, and he’ll take credit.
And his base will believe that he ended the Ukraine war in two weeks.
It’s really damn weird seeing a large group of people just all collectively lying for prolonged periods of time. It feels so bizarre knowing that if anyone else did that, they would be fired, fined, or possibly face prison time for doing that (especially in Trump and his parties’ case).
I get whiplash hearing all the BS on a daily basis. It really has shown that laws only apply to the poor
It’s pretty clear that Trump’s stance toward the slaughter of Ukrainians has been one of quiet complicity.
I really hope this doesn’t come off as some tankie bullshit because that is not my intent.
It seems like I see a lot of conflicting perspectives on what is going on in Ukraine. Sometimes it feels like Russia is a joke and Ukraine is making them look like fools. Their technology is outdated, they’re running out of troops, etc. But then a post like this comes along and suggests they’re committing acts of terror and are an existential threat to Ukraine.
It doesn’t feel like both things could be true at the same time.
Is Russia succeeding or are they failing in Ukraine?
They’re failing at conquering Ukraine. They’re succeeding at committing war crimes.
So both can be true. I’m not an expert in what’s going on, but here’s my take.
Even with Russia’s failings, they still have a manpower advantage and that’s what wins wars. Ukraine’s tech and ally help has helped slow the invasion, but it isn’t stopping it. It helps for morale and propaganda to show Russian troops as incompetent, but even fools can kill if they fire enough. And although they are running out of expendable manpower, they still have the ability to call on more.
I hope the new lifts on weapon restrictions help Ukraine. Again not an expert, just a person who subs here and reads the news occasionally
Russia (Putin) IS a joke. But Russia is a much bigger country, so they’re not going to run out of troops anytime soon unfortunately. Russia talks a big game but their technology and strategies are shit. They’ve relied on terror tactics their whole existence because they’re not a serious country. They’re just a bunch of arrogant, belligerent bullies who think that antagonizing the world means they’re winning.
